In collaboration with the CRIHN, this fall, we will be hosting a new season of Débugue tes humanités. For this year's workshops, two themes are planned to alternate throughout the academic year, with in-person sessions in room 2074 of the Library of Arts and Humanities (BLSH) starting on Thursday, September 11, 2025:
- “What is AI?”: The goal of these workshops is to introduce the humanities community to the fundamentals of critical AI studies through a hands-on learning strategy. No computer science prerequisites are necessary: just bring your computer.
- “Personal computing”: These workshops aim to introduce the academic community to the fundamentals of personal computing through a short series of educational workshops to protect against computer obsolescence.
- These workshops are open to anyone in humanities professors, and they are part of the Canadian Certificate in Digital Humanities.
