Alix Chagué
Alix Chagué is a PhD candidate in Digital Humanities at the Université de Montréal and the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes. She is also a member of Inria's ALMAnaCH team. Under the supervision of Laurent Romary, Emmanuel Château-Dutier and Michael Sinatra, her research focuses on the automatic transcription of manuscripts, and demonstrates, notably, the importance of sharing training data from automatic transcription systems for the advancement of science in the field. She co-founded the HTR-United open data catalog, working to this end.
