Pierre Lévy

Pierre Levy is an Adjunct Professor for the Literature and World Languages Department at the Université de Montréal. He is the co-founder and CEO of INLEKT Metadata Inc. and inventor of Information Economy MetaLanguage (IEML), which try to solve the problem of semantic interoperability with IEML, a language for metadata. His research mainly focuses on the further development of IEML, but he is also interested in the intersections between philosophy, science, religion and technology, as well as reconciling artificial intelligence with collective intelligence.
